Xiaomi is reportedly working on the Xiaomi 14 series of flagship phones. It is expected to debut as early as November this year in China. In a new leak, tipster Ice Universe revealed the number of devices that will be part of the flagship series.
According to the tipster, the lineup will include models, such as the Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Rumours have claimed that there will be a device called the Xiaomi 14 Pro Plus with the Aurora codename. However, the tipster revealed that the lineup does not have such a device.
He made a revelation that there is a special edition version of the Xiaomi 14 Pro. He added that the device will have a high-end design, but there will be no difference as compared to its regular version. There is a possibility that the device may eventually end up being called the Xiaomi 14 Pro+.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro and its special edition may have identical specs. Earlier reports suggested that the 14 Pro may arrive in flat-display and curved-edge screen variants. Hence, there is a possibility that the special variant may sport one of these display designs.
As per reports, the Xiaomi 14 and its Pro siblings will debut this year, but the Ultra model may possibly break cover in Q1 2024. The entire lineup is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is expected to debut in October this year.
