Xiaomi 14 Global Variant Received EMVCo certification, Will Run Android 14 Based HyperOS 1.0
Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of the much-awaited Xiaomi 14 series in the global market. As per the announcement, the series will be launched on 25th Feb in the global market. Ahead of its launch, the Xiaomi 14 global variant has appeared on EMVCo and this has been spotted by the X user named Sudhanshu Ambhore.
As per the certification, the Xiaomi 14 will run Android 14-based HyperOS 1.0 and will support NFC. The smartphone is soon expected to launch in India also, and it was said by a tipster named Abhishek Yadav. Along with the standard variant, the Ultra variant is also expected to launch in India, a tipster wrote on X.
Xiaomi launched the 14 series last year in October in China. It came with the standard and the Pro version. Some reports say that the Pro variant can be skipped in the global market. For now, nothing for sure can be said about it though we know about the specs that the Xiaomi 14 series came with in China.

The Xiaomi 14 smartphone features a 6.36 inch wide 1.5K TCL CSOT C8 OLED 12bit display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 handset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The camera department of the handset boasts a 50 MP Light Hunter 900 OIS primary camera sensor with a 50 MP JN1 ultrawide camera and a 50 MP telephoto JN1 camera on the rear side. The front side of the smartphone sports a 32 MP selfie camera. It is backed by a 4610 mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
