Xiaomi 14 Pro spotted on TUV Rheinland certification website; hints towards it’s global launch

The Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi unveiled its latest flagship Xiaomi 14 series in China last year. The series included two models- Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. Yesterday the company officially announced that the Xiaomi 14 series will launch in the global markets on 25th February at the MWC 2024 event.

But recently Xiaomi 14 Ultra started making its appearance online which gave rise to speculations that Xiaomi might launch Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra models in the global markets while the Pro model will not be introduced. Also recently General Manager of Xiaomi expressed his excitement via the X platform of unveiling the Ultra model. Well, these speculations might go wrong as recently Xiaomi 14 Pro has been spotted on the TUV Rheinland certification website with Chinese and global variants.

Xiaomi 14 Pro has been spotted on the database with two model numbers- 23116PN5BC and 23116PN5BG. It is said that the model number with “G” is for the global variant of the device. Well, the appearance of the device on the certification website hints that Xiaomi might launch the Pro model also in the global markets. However, we do need to wait for the official confirmation before coming to any conclusion.

Xiaomi 14 Pro: Specifications (Chinese variant)

The Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone features a 6.78-inch wide 2K C8 OLED LTPO display with up to 120 Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. It sports a triple rear camera setup that consists of It consists of a 50-megapixel Hunter 900 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) with f//1.6 aperture, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter.

The front side of the phone comes with a 32 MP selfie camera. The device is backed by a 4880 mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
