Xiaomi has finally confirmed the launch date for its upcoming Xiaomi 14 series. The company released a poster confirming that the Xiaomi 14 lineup and the Xiaomi Watch S3 will be unveiled at 7:00 PM (local time) on October 26 in China.
The Xiaomi 14 series is expected to include two models, the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Both phones will feature the Snapdragon 8 Ge 3, which is set to launch this week at Qualcomm’s 2023 Snapdragon Summit event. The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro will be the successors to the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, which were announced in December 2022.
Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro will come equipped with Leica’s higher-end Summilux lens, which will allow these phones to offer a top-notch photography experience. In addition, the 14 Duo will be the first Xiaomi phones to ship with the company’s self-developed HyperOS.
Reports have claimed that there could be a premium variant of the Xiaomi 14 Pro that will feature a titanium alloy frame. It is also being said that the Xiaomi 14 series will arrive with support for satellite connectivity.
While Xiaomi has confirmed the design of the Xiaomi Watch S3 flagship smartwatch, it is yet to reveal any of its features. The official poster reveals that it has a round dial and will be available in multiple strap options, such as black, green, yellow, blue, and brown. The Xiaomi 14 series and Watch S3 are expected to launch in the global market in Q1 2024.
