Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics maker, has already unveiled two smartphone models (Xiaomi 15 & Xiaomi 15 Pro) under the flagship 15 series in its home market and the third device of the series is said to debut this month in China. Now, via its global X handle, the brand has officially announced its 15 series global launch and it is scheduled to take place early next month.

Xiaomi 15 Series – Official Global Launch Announced
As per what the brand’s recently shared X post reads, the Xiaomi 15 series is set to launch globally next month on the 2nd of March 2025 and via the hints given (‘#TheNextPinnacle’ hashtag and camera emoji), the Xiaomi 15 Ultra model that is believed to debut this month in February 2025 in the Chinese market is also launching in the global market early next month accompanying the brand’s standard Xiaomi 15 model. Along with the Xiaomi 15 series, there are also ‘more’ planned by the brand at the upcoming launch event.
Based on previous reports, Xiaomi was expected to unveil its 15 series globally at the MWC 2025 event (3rd March 2025 ~ 6th March 2025), however, it is to be noted that the above mentioned date is a day ahead of the commencement date of the event. Also, like last time’s Xiaomi 14 series, the Xiaomi 15 Pro may not be launched globally, and we may only witness the global launch of the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra models only as mentioned. Additionally, the global model of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra device is also reported to come with a lesser battery backup when compared to the Chinese variant. Also to add, the new 200MP periscope telephoto camera lens with 4.3x zoom capability is a notable key spec of the device that the tech world is looking forward to.
Speaking more, in China, the pre-reservation for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra model had begun a few days back, and the device is expected to break its cover in the country on the 26th of February 2025, this month. Maybe, an official announcement concerning the Xiaomi 15 Ultra China launch could be arriving soon.
