Xiaomi 15 Smartphone First Look Images Shared Ahead of Official Release: Design Specs and Features Revealed
Xiaomi will soon be holding a product launch conference in its home market in China and many of its latest products ranging from new smartphones, custom skin, tablets, EV, and smartwatch will be unveiled at the upcoming event. The flagship 15 series release will also be taking place at the same venue and ahead of it, the first look images of the vanilla 15 model has been shared online, revealing its design specs and features.

Xiaomi 15 – Shared First Look Images
The first look images portray the Xiaomi 15 smartphone in a Light Blue color, and the device is revealed to have a flat display, flat rear panel, and flat side panels with curved corners. The display is revealed to be a 6.36″ large straight screen, and notably the display features 1.38 mm ultra narrow bezels on all four of the display sides.
Coming to the rear, there is the slightly projected square-shaped rear camera module with rounded edges at the top-left corner, similar to its predecessor. There are four circular units within the camera module, and three of them carry camera sensors. The Leica branding can also be seen at the center of the camera module, between the four circular units. Also, similar to what we saw in the concept render, an LED flash light strip is placed outside the camera module at the right. The Xiaomi branding can also be spotted at the lower-left side of the rear panel, written in a vertical manner. At the right side panel, there is the volume rocker and the power button, and antenna lines are present along the sides.
Speaking more about the revealed design specs, there are four curved wraps around the middle frame, and the device is made with aviation aluminium one-piece molding with a crater design and integrated cold carving process. The device has also achieved a 50:50 golden weight ratio.
Xiaomi will be officially releasing its Xiaomi 15 series devices comprising of the flagship 15 and 15 Pro models on the 29th of October 2024 in China, and the devices are said to come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and the Xiaomi HyperOS 2 custom skin based on the Android 15 operating system. To add, the pre-booking for the latest Xiaomi 15 series is also currently live in China.
