Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Redmi Book Pro 16 (2025) key details teased ahead of their official China launch; Xiaomi HyperOS 2 to be unveiled globally on 2nd March, 2025
Yesterday the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi officially announced that the much awaited Xiaomi 15 Ultra will make its debut in its home country on 27th February and alongside this device, the company will also launch Xiaomi SU7 Ultra and Redmi Book Pro (2025).
A lot has been revealed about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone lately and now the brand has also started teasing the key details of this upcoming device.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Key details teased
The smartphone is equipped with a new 1-inch main camera, a Leica 200MP telephoto camera. Xiaomi and Leica have joined hands to create a new Leica Ultra-Pure optical system. The image quality purity and light intake are further improved. The 200MP telephoto camera arrives with f/2.6 ultra-wide aperture, 1/1.4 main camera grade console, 100mm equivalent focal length, and supports 200mm and 400mm lossless zoom.
It features the first Leica ultra-low reflection lens lass that has reflectivity as low as 1.5%. This new lens protection lass improves the image quality of the full-focal-length lenses which greatly reduces hosting problems. The scratch resistance is improved by 82.4%. Earlier the device was revealed to arrive in a dual-tone finish and now the brand has teased that it will also be available in Black and White color options.
The white variant features a cloud silk texture while the Black variant features a matte texture.

Redmi Book Pro 16 (2025): Key details teased
The laptop will be the first to be equipped with second-generation Intel Core Ultra processors. The processor is equipped with leading 96 TOPS AI computing power. The heat dissipation coefficient of the whole machine is 34.4% higher than the previous generation. It comes with LPDDR5X 8400MT/s ultra high-frequency memory.
It is equipped with a 99Wh giant battery and comes with a 140W GaN portable charger. It is said to offer 30 hours of battery life and arrives with a 15.9mm exquisite body. With the ‘Xiaomi AIPC Engine’, this device will support Apple device file transfer as well as other AI capabilities.
Xiaomi HyperOS 2: global debut
Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 smartphones will make their global debut on 2nd March 2025, just a few days after the launch of Xiaomi 15 Ultra in the Chinese market. The company has now announced that alongside these devices, Xiaomi HyperOS 2 will also be unveiled.
Xiaomi HyperOS 2 was officially unveiled in China alongwith Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro smartphones in October, 2024.
