Xiaomi 15 Ultra Smartphone and its Professional Imaging Kit Officially Debuts in China: Pre-Sale Now Open; Official Sale Next Month
Xiaomi, one among the leading Chinese smartphone makers, has finally unveiled its latest iterative camera flagship in its home market in China. Along with the latest flagship device, the brand has also introduced its Professional Imaging Kit. The pre-sale for the two is now open and their official sale is scheduled to take place from early next month.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra
Xiaomi’s latest 15 Ultra flagship smartphone makes use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor (8-core version, clocked at 4.32 GHz) just like the other two already-released 15 series devices, and it is integrated with the Adreno 830 GPU. It has three storage options of 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB.
About its display, it features an LTPO AMOLED display screen that measures 6.73″ in size. The display also supports a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, refresh rate of 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 3200 nits. Moreover, 68 billion colors, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and Xiaomi Shield Glass 2.0 protection are additional display specs.
Coming to its main highlight, the flagship offers a Leica-branded quad rear camera system housing a 50MP (1″) main camera lens, 50MP telephoto camera lens, 200MP periscope telephoto camera lens, and a 50MP ultrawide camera lens. Also, a front-facing camera of 32MP has been given for selfies. Masterful Night Portrait and ACES LOG Cinematic Video are two key camera features.
Regarding its battery, the Chinese version of the smartphone packs a 6000 mAh Si/C Li-ion battery within it. It also supports charging specs such as 90W wired fast charging, 80W wireless fast charging, and 10W reverse wireless fast charging.
Other notable specs include 5G/4G/3G/2G network, WiFi 7 with dual/triple band support and WiFi direct, Bluetooth 6, NFC, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 (with DisplayPort & OTG support), ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader (along with accelerometer, proximity sensor, gyroscope, compass, & barometer), two-way satellite communication, stereo speakers, IP68-rated dust tight and water resistant body (~ glass front, glass x fiber / silicon polymer rear, & aluminum frame), 9.4 mm thickness, and 226 gm / 229 gm weight.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra comes in four colorways – White, Black, Silver x Green, and Silver x Black.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra Professional Imaging Kit
The Professional Imaging Kit for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone notably has a new metal finger handle, new replaceable shutter button, packs a 2000 mAh built-in battery (~ can charge mobile), and is IP54-rated dust-proof and water-proof. Furthermore, it has a custom track wheel (~quickly adjust EV, shutter ISO, white balance, & more), video button (~ default video function and it can be used to quickly adjust camera and video settings), and a filter adapter ring (adaptable 67 mm filter). Also, it supports 90W wired charging, has 0.6 second quick picture output, and Leica watermark for shots captured with it.
Apart from the Gilded Gray color model with a Grey and Gold color scheme, a Legendary Collector’s Edition is also available featuring Black and Red colors on it.
Price and Availability
As mentioned above, the pre-sale for both the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone and its Professional Imaging Kit is currently live in the Chinese market and their official sale is set to begin from the 3rd of March 2025 at 10 AM local time, early next month.
Both the Xiaomi 15 Ultra standard version (model number – 25019PNF3C) and dual satellite communication version (model number – 25010PN30C) are available. The 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB storage variants of the device (standard version) have respective price tags of CNY 6499, CNY 6999, and CNY 7799. The dual satellite version comes only in 16GB/1TB storage option and Black color choice, and is priced at CNY 7999.
For the Professional Imaging Kit, it has a retail pricing of CNY 999. However, when bought with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone, customers can get it for a lower price of CNY 699.
