Xiaomi 2312CRAD3C receives MIIT certification, could be upcoming Redmi phone

A new Xiaomi device with model number 2312CRAD3C has received approval from China’s MIIT certification platform. While the identity of the device is not known yet, it could be one of the upcoming Redmi phones for the Chinese market. Unfortunately, it could not be deduced whether it belongs to the Redmi Note 13 series of smartphones.

Last week, the TENAA certification platform in China approved two Redmi phones with model numbers 23090RA98C and 2312DRA50C. While their identities are not known, their specifications have suggested that both could be part of the Redmi Note 13 Pro series.

In addition, three model numbers, such as 23117RK66C, 2311DRK48C, and 23113RKC6C, were spotted in the IMEI database in June. As per reports, these devices are expected to launch in the home market as the Redmi K70e, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70 Pro, respectively. Rumours surrounding these devices claim that they will feature the Dimensity 8300, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively.

The Redmi K70 is expected to be released in other markets as the Poco F6. The F6’s global and India variants are said to have 2311DRK48G and 2311DRK48I model numbers, respectively. The K70 Pro is likely to be rebranded as the Poco F6 Pro in markets outside of China. Its global edition has the 23113RKC6G model number, whereas its Indian variant has the 23113RKC6I model number.

In May, Xiaomi devices with model numbers 23127PN0CC / 23127PN0CG and 23116PN5BC / 23116PN5BG were spotted in the IMEI database. These model numbers are said to be associated with the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro smartphones, respectively. The model numbers concluding with “C” are intended for the Chinese market, while those ending in “G” are intended for the global market. In addition, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is said to have 24030PN60C (China) / 24030PN60G (global) model number.
