The tipster, Digital Chat Station has shared on the Chinese microblogging platform, Weibo that the upcoming Xiaomi Civi 3 smartphone has received the MIIT(Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) certification from China and a new storage variant of the smartphone has been revealed.
The smartphone has appeared on the certification platform with the model number, 23046PNC9C and has now been confirmed to have a storage variant with a RAM of 12GB and an internal storage of 512GB.
The certification also further mentions that the device will support 5G network connectivity and will have an Android-based operating system.
Digital Chat Station had also previously tipped about the smartphone on the Weibo platform, and as per what he has said, the smartphone is expected to feature a curved-edge display that will have a pair of punch-holes at its center. The tipster has also stated that the device might have a plastic middle frame and at its rear, will have an elliptical-shaped triple camera setup.
It has also been tipped by Digital Chat Station that the device, just like its predecessor will have 32MP + 32MP front-facing cameras for selfies along with a Sony IMX800 main camera at its rear. Regarding its display, the smartphone might have a full HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The chipset of the smartphone has also been tipped by the tech enthusiast, Anthony(@TheGalox_), and the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone is claimed to come equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset.
The smartphone had also received the 3C certification from China, revealing that the device might support a 67W fast charge feature. Since it has received the 3C certification, the launch of the smartphone is expected to take place soon, in the month of May 2023 in China.
