Xiaomi Civi 4 spotted on Google Play Console strangely with the same model number of Civi 4 Pro

Xiaomi launched Civi 4 Pro recently in China and it’s not over yet. A discovery on Google Play Console has spilled the beans, that Xiaomi will probably have the sibling of Civi 4 Pro. We have not only spotted the supported devices list but also the Play Console listing with model number “24053PY09C” and code name “chenfeng “. Just to add, this is the same model number and codename as the recently launched Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro.

Here is what we found

According to the listing, we might expect similar specs to those seen in the Civi 4 Pro. It will be powered by the chipset with model number QTI SM8635, corresponding to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SOC. However, the clocked speed of the CPU is currently hidden, suggesting potential tweaks by Xiaomi for this smartphone. The listing also reveals a screen size of 1236×2750 and a screen density of 480 (xxhdpi). Additionally, it shows 11.8 – 11.9 GB of RAM, likely to be marketed as 12GB of RAM. Furthermore, it will ship with Android 14 out of the box.

Comparing the specs revealed via the Google Play Console of the Civi 4 with the Civi 4 Pro, most of the specs are similar. However, since the CPU and GPU details are currently hidden, it’s hard to determine at what clocked speed the cores will operate.

Regarding the design, the screen grab above depicts a single punch hole layout screen, whereas the Civi 4 Pro featured a dual 32MP front camera setup. This could potentially distinguish between the two smartphones. Additionally, it reveals curved edges with volume control and the power button located on the right side.

Earlier, there were rumors that Xiaomi would launch the Civi 4, but it turned out to be the Civi 4 Pro. This marks the first time Xiaomi has introduced a Pro model in the Civi series. Considering this Google Play Console listing, there might also be a vanilla variant on the way. However, it’s important to note that while the Google Play Console can be a good source for interpreting data, it should always be taken with a pinch of salt.
