Xiaomi Launches its Redmi A3 Smartphone in India at ₹7,299 Starting Price
Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone maker, unveiled the latest Redmi A3 budget smartphone for its Indian customers today on the 14th of February 2024. The device has been introduced with three storage options and three color choices.

Redmi A3 Smartphone Launched in India
The Redmi A3 smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 chipset and is integrated with the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The device has the Android 13 (Go edition) based MIUI custom skin and is offered in three storage options 3GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB (+6GB extended RAM).
The device for its display has a 6.71″ IPS LCD display screen and supports a resolution of 720 x 1650 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
About the cameras, at the rear, a dual camera unit is present, which houses an 8MP main camera and a 0.08MP auxiliary lens. A front-facing camera of 5MP is also there.
Regarding the battery, the device is backed by a 5000 mAh battery and comes with a wired type-C fast charge support of up to 10W.
Other specs include 4G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.3, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Premium Halo design, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 8.3mm thickness, and 193/199 gm weight.
Price and Availability
As mentioned, Xiaomi’s Redmi A3 smartphone comes in three storage options that have respective price tags of Rs. 7,299 (actual list price – Rs. 9,999), Rs. 8,299 (actual list price – Rs. 10,999), and Rs. 9,299 (actual list price – 11,999) for the 3GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB models. Indian customer will also be able to get the device in three color choices too – Midnight Black, Olive Green, and Lake Blue. The official sale of the device will start on the 23rd of February 2024.
