Xiaomi is reportedly gearing up to unveil the Xiaomi Mix Flip as its first flip-style foldable phone. A recent leak by tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that the device will offer a “zero-crease” viewing experience. A new leak that has surfaced on Weibo, courtesy of tipster Smart Pikachu, talks about the rear design of the phone. It claims that the design of the Xiaomi MIX Filp will be similar to what appears to be the upcoming Huawei Pocket 2.
According to reports, the Huawei Pocket 2 will have a minimalist design, offering one round module for the triple camera system, and another circular ring for the secondary display. The new leak states that the MIX Flip will have a dual punch-hole camera setup at the back, equipped with a 3x telephoto camera, which may come with support for shooting macro shots.
The second display of the Xiaomi MIX Flip is likely to have a lot of customizable features. A previous leak claimed that the device would be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The new leak reiterates that the device will have the said chip.
Previous reports have said that the MIX Flip will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, and it will also support satellite connectivity. The other specs of the phone are yet to be leaked. Recent reports have claimed that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra may debut on Feb. 22 in China. There is a possibility that the MIX Flip may also break cover alongside it.
