The rumour mill has been consistently leaking information about the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro. It is speculated that the Pad 6 series may go official alongside the Xiaomi 13 Ultra flagship phone in April in China. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station reiterated some of the key specifications of the Xiaomi Pad 6.
According to the tipster, the Xiaomi Pad 6 will be equipped with an 11-inch LCD panel that offers a 2.8K resolution. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset and an 8,840mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. He added that the device will also feature a USB 3.x port.
Reports have revealed that the Xiaomi Pad 6 will be released in multiple markets, such as China, the global market, and India. The Pad 6 Pro is likely to remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
As per reports, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro will be equipped with an AMOLED display that offers a 2.8K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. It will come equipped with a dual-camera system, a fingerprint scanner, four speakers, NFC, a stylus, and keyboard support.
In related news, other mainstream brands like Oppo and Vivo are gearing up to launch new tablets in China. The Oppo Pad 2 and Vivo Pad 2 are both expected to launch in April this year. Both tablets are rumoured to feature the Dimensity 9000 SoC.
