Xiaomi to Launch a New Smartphone, the Redmi Note 12R Pro on the 29th of April in China
Reports now reveal that Xiaomi, one of the leading Chinese consumer electronics manufacturers is going to launch another smartphone in its Note 12 series, the Redmi Note 12R Pro and the smartphone is to have its launch in China on the 29th of April, 2023.

Xiaomi is to launch another smartphone to its Redmi Note 12 series, the Redmi Note 12R Pro and the smartphone is to launch in its home market in China on the 29th of April, 2023. The upcoming device will also be a 5G smartphone and is a mid-range offering to fit in between Redmi’s other Note 12 series smartphones, such as the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G, Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition, and the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G smartphones.

The Redmi Note 12R Pro 5G smartphone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset and will operate on the Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom UI. It will support RAM variants of upto 12GB and internal storage variants of upto 256GB.
From the poster that has been shared, the smartphone is also to feature a flat frame design with curved rear panels. At its rear, the smartphone will have a rectangular camera module that will house its two cameras and the LED flash, and its primary camera will be a 48MP camera. Regarding its secondary camera and selfie camera nothing is known as of now.
The device will also feature an OLED display panel which will have a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display is also certified with SGS low blue light certification.
The teaser poster has also revealed that the device will be available in three color choices of black, white, and gold.
