Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro Smartphone Now Official: Processor Confirmed and Tipped to Arrive as Rebranded Xiaomi 14 Lite

Xiaomi, one of the leading Chinese smartphone maker, was already revealed to be in the works with its new Civi smartphone, however there have been confusions regarding its moniker. Now, the brand has officially confirmed it, along with the processor that the device will be using. A tipster on the Weibo platform has also tipped that this device would probably get rebranded as the next “Xiaomi 14 Lite”.

Based on some recent updates from a Xiaomi official, it was speculated that the next Civi smartphone is soon going to have its debut in China, and at the same time, it was also revealed that this time the device won’t likely be called “Civi 4”, but something else. “Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro” and “Xiaomi Civi 5” were the two guesses for the moniker at the time.

Xiaomi has now officially confirmed that its next Civi smartphone will be called – “Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro”, and it will be powered by the newly unveiled Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. This processor along with the brand’s HyperOS custom skin will be offering users improved camera, performance, and AI capabilities.

In the meantime, Digital Chat Station via a Weibo post has indicated that the Civi 4 Pro smartphone in works will probably be rebranded as the next Xiaomi 14 Lite. The tipster also notes that the Civi 4 Pro’s display, camera, performance, and design language have all been upgraded as well.

Speaking more, the Civi 4 Pro smartphone is believed to bear the model number of “24053PY09C” and has been certified by the 3C and MIIT authorities of China. Also to add, a smartphone carrying the model number – “24053PY09I” had appeared on the BIS database, and this device maybe the Xiaomi 14 Lite.

As far as the specs are concerned, the Civi 4 Pro as mentioned will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and is likely to feature a curved-edge 1.5K OLED 120Hz display. Dual front cameras and a possible 50MP OIS main camera are two other expected specs. A battery with 5000 mAh or more capacity maybe packed within, and the 3C listing suggests of a 67W wired fast charging feature.
