New Apple Mac mini M4 and M4 Pro Models Launched with a Smaller Design, Better Performance, and with Apple Intelligence
Apple, the Cupertino-based tech maker, has already announced a week with exciting announcements and following the launch of the new iMac with M4 chip, the expected second product, the latest Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro chips have been unveiled. The pre-order for the device is live and it will be made available from next week.

New Apple Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro Chips Unveiled
Similar to what we saw with the launch of the new iMac with M4 chip, the Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro chips were unveiled by sharing a press release and dropping a YouTube launch video simultaneously. As was expected, the latest Mac mini has a redesigned look and offers better performance when compared to its predecessor (thanks to the M4 chips), and moreover brings the Apple Intelligence on the device.
Speaking of its design, the latest Mac mini features a smaller form factor design with a size of 5″ x 5″, and offers front and back connectivity ports to its users. At the front, two USB Type-C ports and a 3.5mm audio jack, along with three Thunderbolt 4 ports, Gigabit Ethernet port, and an HDMI port at the back, are being offered. For the first time, Thunderbolt 5 is also supported. The device is the brand’s smallest desktop till date, and is also the first carbon neutral Mac.
Coming to the performance side, the M4 and M4 Pro chips assure up to 1.8x better CPU and up to 2.2x better GPU performances when compared with the previous M1 model. With Apple Intelligence, users will be able to transform their work, and communicate and express even better, with complete protection of their privacy.
As mentioned, the pre-order for the Mac mini M4 and M4 Pro chip models are already live, and it can be pre-booked in India as well as in 28 other countries and regions. In the Indian market, for the Mac mini with M4 chip, it is priced at INR 59,900 and INR 49,900(for education). On the other hand, the Mac mini M4 Pro model has price tags of INR 1,49,900 and INR 1,39,900(for education).
To add, customers will also be able to purchase Apple accessories with USB Type-C port with the latest Mac mini and this includes the Magic Keyboard priced INR 9,500, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID priced INR 14,500, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad priced INR 17,500, Magic Trackpad priced INR 12,500, Magic Mouse priced INR 7,500, and the Thunderbolt 5 Pro Cable priced INR 6,900.
The Mac mini M4 and M4 Pro models will be reaching the customers from next week, from 8th of November 2024, and will also be made available at Apple Store locations and via Apple’s authorized resellers.
