Nokia announced “Enhanced” features in Nokia XR20 Industrial edition

The release of the Nokia XR20 Industrial edition for usage in risky, combustible, explosive, and dusty settings has been announced by Nokia. The Nokia XR20 5G smartphone has been upgraded to become the Nokia XR20 Industrial Edition. Its ATEX, IECEx, NEC500, and UL certifications attest to its suitability for usage in locations with the potential for explosions and volatile chemical use.

Applications like Nokia Team Comms or Group Communications are available for the Nokia XR20 Industrial Edition handsets. Workers may communicate with each other via push-to-talk and video using these applications.

The certifications demonstrate that the smartphone may be used in environments where volatile chemicals are utilized and explosions are a possibility. As well as its usefulness in the open air or when exposed to the weather.

The smartphone may be used by anybody working in a dangerous environment. Which includes those in dusty mines, chemical manufacturing plants, and isolated oil drilling platforms.
