Oppo India has partnered with Skit.ai to provide users with AI customer service; check out now
Skit.ai’s digital speech agent will now assist the company with real-time consumer query responses as part of the new relationship.
A new voicebot powered by artificial intelligence has been introduced by Oppo India for the nation’s customer assistance. The speech AI SaaS (software as a service) business Skit.AI, located in Bengaluru, has teamed with the smartphone maker to create the service. Skit.ai’s digital speech agent will now assist the company with real-time consumer query responses as part of the new relationship.
The new voicebot from Oppo has been taught to respond to inquiries in Hindi and English. It will be able to respond to inquiries regarding replacement components, new technology, the location of the closest repair facility, and scheduling appointments. The voicebot’s concept is that it will handle simpler issues while customer service agents concentrate on more complicated ones.
“We are adding the appointment service to this particular channel as well. So, if you don’t have time right now and you would like to visit sometime later, the voicebot can also give you an appointment,”- Saurabh Chaturvedi, Head of Customer Service, Oppo India has told to indianexpress.com on a call interview.
Even if the speech bot will be a useful resource, the customer service representative will still be around for the time being, and Chaturvedi added
“I still believe that answering all the queries is a little challenging. That’s why we did one step at a time where we go with the easy ones which are like closed-ended answers like ‘Okay, give me the address,’”
A lot of difficulties must be overcome in order to create such a bot, says Sourabh Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Skit.ai, and he added “The way people talk in India is very different from the rest of the world.”
