Poco X5 to be launched on 13th October 2022?

Recently Poco X5 has been spotted in the IMEI’s database. The device was under model number M20.

It was XiaomiUI that spotted the listing of the smartphone in the database. Key specifications of the Poco X5 were also revealed by the publication.

According to the IMEI database, the Poco X5 will be available in the global, Indian, and China markets.

In the Chinese market, it will be launched under the name Redmi moniker. The model number of the new Poco X5 for the global market is 22101320G, for the Indian market it will be 22101320I, and for the Chinese market, it will be 22101320C.

According to the report by the IMEI database, the X5 has a code name ‘REDWOOD’. Xiaomi UI also revealed the launch timeline of the new X5. Decoding the model number of the X5 reveals that it will be launched on 13TH October 2022.

Serial number = 22101320 where 22 = 2022, 10 = October, and 13 is said to be the date. The letter G, I, and C in the model number stands for Global, India, and China respectively.

According to the IMEI database reports following will be the key specifications of the new Poco X5 –

  • The display of the  X5 will be an LCD display with an amazing refresh rate of 120 Hz.
  • X5 will be a gaming-centric phone with snapdragon 778G+.
