The smartphone company Realme has announced the launch date for its upcoming Realme GT 2 series to be on January 4 2022 in China. The much-awaited model is likely the firm’s most premium flagship phone ever. The flagship will include vanilla Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro.
The much-awaited phone is expected to be the first smartphone to be equipped with the latest flagship chipset of Qualcomm, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. According to the company, the GT 2 series will feature the best technologies that are “world’s first innovations” in the smartphone industry. This means that the GT 2 Pro will have the most advanced camera, design and communication features.
According to reports, The Chinese tech giant will launch its upcoming flagship phones on at 7:30 PM on January 4 in China which means 5 PM IST.
The brand stated, “The Realme GT 2 series has been co-designed by Naoto Fukasawa and Realme Design Studio with a unique Paper Tech Master design to appeal to a younger audience and give users a premium feel. Addressing the new generation’s needs, Realme states that mobile phones are no longer just communication tools, but also represent Gen Z’s attitude towards sustainability.”
Many details are not yet been unveiled by the company but did confirm that the series will feature bio-polymer material, an ultra wide camera (150-degree field of view) along with a 360° NFC technology and a WiFi enhancer. The series will also be equipped with the Antenna Array Matrix System which will be the world’s first “Ultra Wide Band HyperSmart Antenna Switching” system.
The series will be launched in China on Jan 4 and is expected to hit other markets in the coming months.
