Realme Buds Air 5 Pro and Xiaomi Smart Pen (2nd Generation) Receives Malaysia’s SIRIM Certification

Realme Buds Air 5 Pro and Xiaomi Smart Pen (2nd Generation) Receive SIRIM Certification

The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro, Realme’s upcoming earbuds, and the Xiaomi Smart Pen (2nd Generation) have made their appearance on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification platform.

The Realme Earbuds have received the certification with a type approval code of RFFS/34H/0523/S(23-1933) and will be certified by the 8th of May, 2024.

 

Xiaomi Smart Pen (2nd Generation) has been certified with a type approval code of RDBL/46A/0523/S(23-1978) and its certification will only be expired in 2028, on the 8th of May.

 

For those of you who didn’t know, Realme’s Buds Air 5 Pro is going to have its official launch on the 10th of May, 2023 in China, the same day Realme’s 11 series smartphones are to have its launch. The specs of the device were also tipped and spotted on FCC recently, as per which the device will feature an in-ear design and is to use a coaxial dual unit solution for improved sound quality.

The device will be available in black and white colors and is also to be launched in India soon as confirmed by its BIS certification.

Now regarding the Xiaomi Smart Pen, the device is light in weight weighing just 12.2 grams, and features a primary and secondary button along with a TPE replaceable soft pen-tip. It will also have a 240Hz sampling rate and a pressure sensitivity level of 4096. Xiaomi Smart Pen 2nd gen has also been spotted on TDRA certification websites. Along with this Xiaomi Pad 6 has also been spotted on the SIRIM website hitting a global launch soon.

About its battery life, an 18 min charge is enough to fully charge the device and on a full charge, the device will be able to offer its users a battery life of upto 8 hours. With a 60-second charge, users will also be able to use the device for about 20 minutes as well.
