Redmi Pad Pro 5G Indian variant spotted on Google Play Console listing with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor

Redmi recently launched the Redmi Pad Pro in China, but without 5G capability. Even though the chipset powering this tablet has 5G compatibility, Redmi, for some reason, chose to release the Wi-Fi variant first. In an earlier report, it was revealed that Redmi plans to bring the 5G variant of this Tablet soon. Now, it seems we have something new to report that aligns with that information. Today, we spotted the Redmi Pad Pro 5G on the Google Play console, revealing some of the key specs.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G Google Play Console

This tablet has been spotted on the Google Play Console listing with the model number “24074RPD2I” and the code name Redmi Ruan. As per the previous report, “I” at the end of the model number refers to the Indian variant. According to the listing, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor with 4 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and 4 cores clocked at 1.95 GHz. For graphics, it will feature the Adreno 710 GPU (940 MHz). The screen size will be 1600×2560, with a screen density of 320 (xhdpi). Additionally, at least 8GB of RAM can be expected, along with Android 14 out of the box.

We previously spotted the 5G variant on the Bluetooth SIG with the model number ‘24074RPD2C’ and Bluetooth version 5.2. Similar to the above, ‘I’ represents the Indian variant, while ‘C’ denotes the China variant. Additionally, reports suggest that the Redmi Pad Pro (Wi-Fi) variant will also be making its global debut soon, as it was also spotted on the Google Play Console. Furthermore, we discovered the Redmi Pad Pro keyboard and stylus on certifications from BIS, TDRA, SDPPIIMDA, NRRA, and FCC.

Additionally, the 5G variant is expected to feature an eSIM option. Similar to the Wi-Fi variant, it is anticipated to first hit the Chinese market before making its global debut.
