Now, the Amazon-owned brand, has introduced its new Ring Outdoor Cam Plus with 2K video capabilities out of the box and it is currently available for pre-order.

Ring Outdoor Cam Plus – Introduced With 2K Video Support Out of the Box
The newly introduced Ring Outdoor Cam Plus is an upgraded model over the brand’s Stick Up Cam, and it is weather resistant, has an expanded field of view, and supports the Ring Low-Light Sight Technology. The device can be powered with the help of a battery, USB-C port plug-in, or using a solar panel accessory. An easy-to-install mount is also part of it. Furthermore, apart from the 2K video support, an improved dual-band WiFi support is also present.
Speaking more, other core features of the Ring Outdoor Cam Plus are real-time alerts, live streaming, and two-way talking. To access features like recording, saving motion events, and package detection, users will have to subscribe for the Ring Home Basic subscription that starts at USD 4.99 per month / USD 49.99 per year. Also, the plug-in version of the device comes with 24 x 7 recording capability, and it can make use of the AI-powered Smart Video Search feature to find the key moments in a recording (or recordings). However, users will have to have a Ring Home Premium subscription that costs USD 19.99 per month / USD 199.99 per year.
As of now, in the US market, the Ring Outdoor Cam Plus is available for pre-order at USD 99.99, via the Ring’s official website or via the Amazon shopping platform. Customers can get it in Black and White colors, and its shipping is said to start from the 26th of March 2025.
