Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 (5G Model) Receives Thailand’s NBTC Certification
Samsung’s rugged version tablet which is expected to launch early this year in 2024 has received the NBTC certification from Thailand. It is the 5G model that has been certified.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 tablet – 5G model has been listed on the NBTC certification platform with the model number – “SM-X306B”, and has been certified with the certificate number – “B38686-23”. The database categorizes the tablet under the cellular mobile section, revealing it to support 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G network connectivity.
Apart from the 5G model, there will also be a Wi-Fi-only model too for the tablet, and both these variants have made it to different certification platforms such as the KTL, Safety Korea, FCC, Geekbench, TDRA, IMDA, and Bluetooth SIG platforms. Some of its specifications are also now known via these certifications/listings.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 – Revealed Specifications
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab Active 5 is pointed out to come equipped with the brand’s own Exynos 1380 5G processor and will be running on the latest Android 14 operating system. A RAM option of 6GB and an internal storage of 128GB will also be present for the device, along with a microSD card support with expandable storage of up to 64GB. The tablet will also pack a 4900 mAh battery and will have a 15W wired fast charge feature. Other specs are the S-Pen support and the Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.3.
As far as the launch is concerned, it is possible that Samsung may launch its latest rugged version of tablet – the Galaxy Tab Active 5 early this year itself as mentioned, and all these certifications and official listings are suggesting the same.
