Samsung has entered the war of 5K monitors with its latest Viewfinity S9 monitor. We’ll get to see the monitor at the CES 2023 and the device will be made available for purchase very soon.
Let’s know more about it.
The Viewfinity S9
The Samsung Viewfinity S9 has a sleek design with a metal enclosure giving it a premium look. It operates on the Tizen OS and comes with a lot of apps and services.
The monitor features a 27″ display with a screen resolution of 5,120×2,880 pixels. It has a 99% DCI-P3 color gamut along with a Boasting Delta E ≦21 which delivers the perfect pictures with the best colors in it. The glare and the light reflection in the monitor is also minimum with the matte finish panel.
The Viewfinity S9 also has an integrated Color Calibration Engine. With the Samsung Smart Calibration app, users will be able to adjust the RGB color balance and the white balance with their phone itself.
The device also has an integrated 4K camera which can be used for video conferencing.
It also includes connectivity ports like the Thunderbolt 4 port, USB type -C port, HDMI port, and a display port. Users will also be able to charge their laptops at a speed of upto 96W using the monitor itself.
Details regarding the price of the monitor are still yet to come, but will most likely be priced below the Apple Studio Display. Samsung’s Viewfinity S9 monitor will also give tight competition to LG’s flagship OLED displays as well.
