Samsung announced its Galaxy Ring in the month of July 2024 and so far it has been made available in many global markets from the US, Europe, Australia, Brazil to Mexico. Very recently, the brand announced its arrival to the Indian market as well and the pre-reservation began two days back with a complimentary Wireless Charger Duo for customers pre-reserving it. Samsung Galaxy Ring – Now Available in India
The Samsung Galaxy Ring has been introduced in 9 different sizes (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, & 13), and comes in three colorways of Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold. Sleek titanium finish, detailed insights, wireless charging cradle, durable and water-resistant body, energy score, wellness tips, menstrual cycle tracking, and sleep insights are some of its highlighted features. The product box will include the Galaxy Ring, charging case, and the data cable.
About the price, the Galaxy Ring is priced INR 38,999 (actual list price – INR 39,999). On Samsung’s official India website, no-cost and EMI benefits starting at INR 1624.87/month and INR 1608.23/month can be availed. Other than the free Wireless Charger Duo pre-reserve benefit, a 25W Travel Adapter can also be received as part of the Samsung Live Offer for free from today 16th October until the 18th of October 2024 (live commerce only).
Some of the other benefits include up to 780 Smart Club Points on Samsung website, up to INR 2,000 off on Samsung Shop app, 10% cashback on EMI and full payment with Samsung Axis Bank credit card, 18% discount on business purchase, and 5% additional discount using referral code.
Samsung Galaxy Ring – Specifications
Speaking more about the specifications of Samsung’s Galaxy Ring, it features a titanium grade 5 build and has an IP68-rated water and sweat resistant body. It is also 5ATM waterproof, ensuring better durability. On the connectivity side, it supports a Bluetooth version of 5.4 and is compatible with Galaxy smartphones with Android 11.0 or higher OS, along with at least 1.5 GB of memory.
The device will offer its users detailed health reports, thanks to Samsung’s Galaxy AI features, and the Sleep AI Algorithm provides data compiling information regarding sleep scores, sleep metrics, and snoring analysis. Menstrual cycle tracking is also an important feature of the device. Heart rate notification via the Heart Rate Alert feature on Samsung Health app, capability to take photos and dismiss alarms on paired devices, and Find My Ring support on Samsung Find, are the other key features. Sensors such as the PPG sensor, accelerometer, and temperature sensor are also equipped within it.
Coming to the battery life, up to 5 days of battery life can be expected on the 18mAh (size 5 ring) ~ 23.5 mAh (size 13 ring) battery. The charging case packs a 361 mAh battery with LED light to indicate the charging status.
