Samsung’s Galaxy XCover7 Pro and Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro Rugged Devices Introduced

Following the Galaxy XCover 7 and Galaxy Tab Active5 devices that were unveiled early last year in 2024, Samsung has now officially introduced their pro models. The brand’s latest rugged devices are enterprise-ready, offering stable performance, enhanced durability, as well as optimized workflow for front-line workers.

Galaxy XCover7 Pro and Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro – Officially Introduced
The newly-introduced Galaxy XCover7 Pro and Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro rugged devices feature 5G network connectivity support, an upgraded processor, and enlarged memory. The battery backup on both the devices have increased as well. A new stereo speaker system supporting anti-feedback technology in the Galaxy XCover7 Pro, and the dual hot-swap battery functionality support on the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro are also notable specs.
Speaking more, IP68-rated dust and water resistance, MIL-STD-810H-certified design, upgraded stereo speakers, Vision Booster, POGO charging interface, WiFi 6E, AI-driven capabilities, Samsung DeX, Samsung Knox Vault, and programmable keys are other key specs. The Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro additionally also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, no battery mode, pSIM + eSIM support, front-facing NFC tagging, and it can act as an mPOS system (mobile point-of-sale).
