Finally the most awaited Xiaomi Band 8 launched in China, get to know about the features
Today when Xiaomi was launching Xiaomi M13 Ultra and Pad 6 during the launch event in China, some of the users were eagerly waiting for the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 launch. You read it right, China witnessed the launch of the most awaited Xiaomi Smart Band 8 which has expanded the horizon of wearables.
If we talk about the price of this wearable, it has been kept the same for the standard variant Mi Band 8 which is 249 Yuan(~₹2973.92/$36.21). The NFC variant of the Mi Band 8 is priced at 299 Yuan(₹3569.99/$43.49). As of now, customers will get some discount on it as part of the early bird sale.
However, this is only launched in China and no words from the company have been shared about its launch in the global market. We recently spotted Xiaomi Smart Watch C on the Malaysian SIRIM certification website, which makes us believe that new products are coming from Xiaomi.
Features
We have already been covering a lot about the features of this wearable. It still features the same pill-shaped design but with some of the other major designs and features upgraded. The Mi Band comes with a 1.62-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a 60 Hz refresh rate and 600 nits of peak brightness and a pixel density of 326 ppi. With up to 200 watch faces on the fitness band, you can change them via Xiaomi Health App. Some of the special watches faces even let users play games like ping pong, shooter, trivia, and more.
Mi Band 8 supports more than 150 sports modes including walking, running, cycling, weightlifting, swimming, and more. Other than these features you can also keep track of professional data such as stride frequency, stride length, ground contact vacancy ratio, ground impact force, and more. It supports heart rate, sleep tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, and menstrual tracking for females.
As far as its battery life is concerned Mi Band 8 battery will last 16 days on a single charge in standard mode. If you use it while enabling AOD the battery life lasts for 10 days. With its magnetic charger users can charge its 190mAh battery in just 1 hour.
