OPPO Watch 3 Blue Colour Variant First Open Sales Began: Instant Discount of ¥100
The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, OPPO unveiled its OPPO Watch 3 series devices last year and the series included the Watch 3 and the Watch 3 Pro smartwatches. Last month the brand also launched a new colour variant of the OPPO Watch 3 and its open sales commenced on the 16th of June 2023.

OPPO Watch 3 Blue Colour Variant Open Sales
The OPPO Watch 3 was initially launched with Black and Gold colour options and the brand added a new colour variant last month. The “Yicai Blue” colour variant was launched at a price of ¥1,599 along with two new watch straps with price tags of ¥69 and ¥99. The pre-orders of the new colour variant started on the same day itself with its first open sales scheduled to take place on the 16th of June 2023.
As planned, the brand had begun the first open sales of the smartwatch on the said day, but with a surprise. An extra ¥100 discount was added to the device bringing the price of the smartwatch from ¥1,599 to ¥1,499.
The OPPO Watch 3 Blue colour variant is still available on the brand’s official Chinese website for purchase with a few other offers including 50% off on OPPO’s screen protection and accidental warranty.
Now regarding its specifications, the OPPO Watch 3 Blue colour variant is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 chipset and is coupled with a RAM of 1GB and an internal storage of 32GB. It is also equipped with the brand’s own Apollo 4 Plus chip. The smartwatch also double boots on the ColorOS Watch custom UI based on Wear OS and RTOS.
For its display, the device features an AMOLED display panel with a screen size of 1.75 inches and a screen resolution of 430 x 372 pixels. It also has a screen density of 326 PPI.
Coming to its connectivity part, the smartwatch offers 4G network connectivity with eSIM support. The device also supports Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.0, GNSS and NFC. Various sensors which include an accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, altimeter, heart rate monitor and a SpO2 sensor are also present on the device.
The smartwatch is backed by a 400 mAh battery and is capable of offering a total battery life of upto 4 days, which will be reduced by a day while on LTE mode. The company also claims a battery life of upto 14 days in RTOS mode.
