Redmi officially unveils its first children’s watch in China; Available for pre-orders via JD.com
Kids smartwatches have recently gained popularity in the industry with many brands introducing amazing feature-packed smartwatches for kids. Well, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has now entered this segment with the debut of its first children’s watch inthe Chinese market.

The smartwatch is available for pre-orders via JD.com and the official sale will start on 24th March. It is priced at 499 Yuan but it can be further reduced to 424.15 Yuan after deducting national subsidies.

The smartwatch is equipped with a 1.68-inch display that offers 360×360 screen resolution. It packs up a 5MP HD front camera that allows to click pictures and supports video calls. It is backed by a 950mAh Li-ion battery with up to 3 days of battery life.
It supports nine-fold security positioning, a 90-day historical track query, and comes with 20 meters of water resistance. It is equipped with WeChat for children’s watches, supports adding WeChat friends on mobile phones, and supports adding friends on cross-brand children’s watches. It also supports Alipay and WeChat payments, and settings of anti-disturbance mode and anti-addiction mode during class are also supported.
The smartwatch has passed 170 reliability tests and comes with 4GB storage, customizable watch faces, and a K12 exercise system with multiple sports modes. It supports full-network 4G connectivity across all major Chinese carriers.
