Galaxy Watch 6 Series Official Marketing Images Leaked

Thanks to the well-known tipster and leakster, Evan Blass(@evleaks), the official marketing images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series devices have been leaked. The renders of both the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Watch 6 Classic devices have been revealed. We can find two hardware buttons on both smartwatches on the right side. The home button is at the top and the back button is just below it. The home button is also given a red highlight making it look distinct from the back button.

The marketing images of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic also reveals the physically rotatable thick bezels just like the 5K renders that were shared earlier.

By now the Galaxy Watch 6 series smartwatches have received the GCF, FCC, and Safety Korea certifications. It has now also been confirmed that the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic and the Galaxy Watch 6 devices will be having two models each. The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will be having 42mm and 46mm models whereas the Galaxy Watch 6 will have 40mm and 44mm models. LTE+Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi-only variants can be expected for all the models.

Now speaking about the specifications that have been revealed by now, the Galaxy Watch 6 series devices are expected to be powered by the Exynos W930 chipset(previously referred to as the Exynos W980 chipset) and will be having improved battery capacity than before.

The 40mm and the 44mm variants of the Galaxy Watch 6 smartwatch are confirmed to arrive equipped with 300 mAh and 425 mAh batteries respectively and will be supporting a 25W wired fast charge feature along with wireless charging capabilities. The battery specs of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic are however still unclear and as per what we know now, the 42mm variant might have the 300 mAh battery while the 46mm may have the 425 mAh battery or an even larger battery as the previous Galaxy Watch 5 Pro 45mm variant was equipped with a 590 mAh battery.

With more updates that are expected to arrive soon, we’ll be able to confirm more about the upcoming devices. Stay tuned until then.
