Following the launch of the Watch 1 in 2023, the Chinese consumer electronics maker, OnePlus, is reported to be working on its next Watch 2 smartwatch, and now, the 5K renders, along with a few of its key specifications have been revealed.

OnePlus Watch 2 – 5K Renders & Key Specs
The 5K renders and the key specifications of the upcoming OnePlus Watch 2 smartwatch have been revealed by the tipster @OnLeaks(partnering with MySmartPrice), and it is understood that OnePlus will be sticking with the same circular dial design for its Watch 2 also.
The device is expected to feature a metal case and will come with rubber straps. Two color choices can also be expected – White and Black. On the render images, we can also spot the speaker unit at the left side, and two functional buttons at the right on the projected case structure. The health monitoring sensors and the pogo pins for charging like always are at the bottom.
Coming to its revealed specifications, the tipster states that the smartwatch will have a 1.43″ AMOLED display panel, and will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset. It has also been added that the device will be supporting all the necessary health sensors.
About its operating system, the MySmartPrice article suggested the smartwatch to retain the same custom RTOS platform that we saw on the previous OnePlus Watch 1, however, another tipster on the Twitter platform pointed to something else.
The update from the tipster Max Jambor(@MaxJmb) mentioned that the upcoming OnePlus Watch 2 will have the WearOS 4 operating system, and to add, this was also later confirmed by @OnLeaks.
Speaking about another update regarding the OnePlus Watch 2, the upcoming smartwatch has been certified by the BIS certification authority of India, and its Indian launch has thus been confirmed.
As far as its launch is concerned, it is being reported that there is a great chance that the brand could unveil its latest smartwatch along with its flagship 12 smartphone, which has already been confirmed to soon launch in China, and globally in early 2024.
