The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series devices have already received certification from SafetyKorea which has revealed the improved battery capacity of the smartwatches.
As per what the report suggests, the 40mm variant of the Galaxy Watch 6 with a model number SM-R93x, will have a battery capacity of 300 mAh which is an improvement of about 16 mAh compared to the 40mm variant of the Galaxy Watch 5 series, which had a battery backup of 284 mAh.
Now speaking of the 44mm variant, the device which appeared on the SafetyKorea website with model number SM-R94x has a battery backup of 425 mAh. This is again a 15 mAh increase from its previous version which had a total battery capacity of 410 mAh.
The product code of the batteries used in the 40mm and the 44mm Galaxy Watch 6 devices has also been revealed and is EB-BR935ABY and EB-BR945ABY respectively.
It is also to be noted that reports suggesting a pro variant haven’t surfaced anywhere which creates confusion about whether the device will be launched or not. But if the device gets launched with the 40mm and 44mm variants, we can hope for a battery backup of 600 mAh which is much larger than the batteries used in the other two devices.
Some of the rumors have also suggested that the upcoming devices will have a curved display as well which is still not yet confirmed but if it does have a curved display, it will be a good improvement. Samsung fans can expect more feature upgrades and improvements which are likely to be made available to the public soon, which was the case for most of the previous Samsung devices.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch6 series, as per what the recent reports suggest, will have its launch likely in the month of August which is just 5 months away and by then much more details about the smartwatches will be made available as mentioned before.
