Xiaomi, the Chinese consumer electronics maker, has launched its latest Smart Band 8 Pro device in the Japanese market. The device comes in two color choices and is currently available for purchase.

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro – Now Available in Japan
The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro has a total size of 46 x 33.35 x 9.99 mm and only weighs 22.5 gm. It features a 1.74″ Organic EL AMOLED touch display with a screen resolution of 336 x 480 pixels, a screen density of 336 PPI, and a maximum brightness rate of 600 nits. A GG3 tempered glass and high strength fiber polymer with NCVM(non-conductive vacuum metallization) are part of the device too. The device is also 5-ATM waterproof and has a compatible circumference of 135 ~ 205mm (strap – TPU material with innovative quick release construction).
Speaking more about its specs, the device comes with sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope, optical heart rate and blood oxygen meter, and an ambient light sensor. Multiple health management features and 150+ sports modes are also onboard. It also supports location positioning systems like BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS. GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System) and a Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.3 are also supported. A rotor motor, Mi Fitness App compatibility, and operability with Android 8.0 or iOS 12.0 or their later versions are also notable specifications.
Regarding the battery, this Xiaomi smart band packs a 289 mAh lithium ion polymer battery and is claimed to offer a usage time of up to 14 days. The charging time is approximately 80 minutes long.
About its price and availability, Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro has already been put up for its sale in Japan and has a price tag of 8,480 Yen (actual list price – 8,980 Yen). Customers will also be able to purchase the device in White and Black colors. The box contents will consist of the device, the strap, charging cable, and an instructional manual.
