Sony FE 70-200 mm F4 Macro G OSS II Lens Introduced: To be Made Available Soon in India

Sony has now introduced its FE 70-200 mm F4 Macro G OSS II lens along with two other products – the A6700 camera and ECM-M1 compact shotgun microphone. It will be made available soon in the Indian market.

Sony FE 70-200 mm F4 Macro G OSS II Lens

The Japanese consumer electronics manufacturer, Sony has now introduced three new products recently of which, the FE 70-200 mm F4 Macro G OSS II lens is a compact high-resolution telephoto zoom lens. The latest lens is occupied with a lightweight 70-200 mm F4 telephoto zoom G lens which is capable of delivering an outstanding optical and AF performance, accompanied by half-macro capabilities. The lens also offers impressive handling and mobility to its users.

Speaking more about the lens, it will offer the best corner-to-corner resolution and contrast and will reduce chromatic aberration and color bleeding with the help of its camera elements. An enhanced full-frame bokeh effect can also be achieved with the latest lens. Sony’s FE 70-200 mm F4 Macro G OSS II lens is also the first-in-class lens to offer half-zoom capabilities. The improved fast focus feature will also let its users capture images of fast-moving objects seamlessly.

The latest Sony lens is also best suited for movie makers and photographers. The impressive manual focus and the inbuilt stabilization features ensure that the shots are always the best with a reduced shake. With a stabilization device that is compatible with Sony’s Alpha series cameras, the best output is assured to its users. The device is also compatible with many teleconverters as well and will offer top-class performance.

The FE 70-200mm F4 Macro G OSS II lens dimension-wise is very compact and easy to carry. It has a length of 149 mm along with a diameter of 82.2 mm and only weighs 794 gm. The zoom lock switch again is an added advantage for easy transportation, preventing any sort of lens extractions.

In the US market, the device will be available by late July at a price of $1,699.99, and in the Canadian market, it will be priced at $2299.99. In the UK, the price will be £1,750 and the lens will be made available in September. For the European market in general, the price is said to come around €2,000.
