Sony Introduces New Alpha 9 III Camera and FE 300mm F2.8 GM OSS Lens
The Japanese tech company, Sony, has introduced its new Alpha 9 III camera and FE 300mm F2.8 GM OSS lens globally. It will soon be made available.

Sony Alpha 9 III Camera
Sony’s latest Alpha 9 III camera is the world’s first full-frame mirrorless camera with a global shutter and has a full-frame stacked 24.6MP CMOS image sensor, which will offer no distortion for stills and videos.
The latest camera device also supports 120FPS with AF/AE blackout-free shooting and has a maximum shutter speed of 1/80000 second with flash sync. Do note that the shutter speed will be reduced to 1/16000 second during continuous shooting.
The Alpha 9 III camera also has an improved ergonomic grip design for better operability and workflow, and comes with a 4-axis multi-angle LCD monitor with 120 fps high display quality EVF.
Sony FE 300mm F2.8 GM OSS Lens
The FE 300mm F2.8 GM OSS lens from Sony is the world’s lightest 300mm F2.8 lens and is ideally balanced for better handheld shooting. It is only 1,470 gm/ 51.9 oz. in weight, and as mentioned, is the lightest in its class.
Speaking more about the lens, it also supports corner-to-corner sharpness and G Master bokeh, along with an agile tenacious autofocus feature.
The pre-orders for the Alpha 9 III camera and the FE 300mm F2.8 GM OSS lens start on the 8th of November 2023, today, in certain global markets. The Alpha 9 III camera is expected to be made available next spring, with a suggested retail price of $5,999(about ₹4,99,537). The shipping of the FE 300mm F2.8 GM OSS lens is said to start in February, next year, with the same expected retail price.
