Sony to Unveil a New Camera Device on July 12: Could be the A6700

Sony will be launching a new camera device in the global market today on the 12th of July, 2023. The company has made the official announcement and the product launch will be live streamed on the YouTube platform.

The Japanese electronics maker, Sony had just introduced one camera device this year, the ZV-E1, and the brand will soon be launching a new camera device in the market. The official launch will take place today July 12 and will be livestreamed through the YouTube platform. Nothing much about the upcoming camera device has been revealed yet apart from the tagline, “Next generation creativity on the go”

In India, Sony fans will be able to watch the live stream at 7:30 PM(IST) and the fans in other countries, can watch it at 10:00(EDT), 15:00(BST), 22:00(CST), and 23:00(JST).

It is assumed that this new camera device that Sony is going to launch might be the A6700 camera, the successor to the previous A6600. Sony’s A6700 camera is expected to be an APS-C mirrorless camera which is supposedly capable to shoot 4K videos at 120 FPS. The camera device is likely to feature a 26MP BSI APS-C sensor along with the BIONZ XR image processor. It is also expected to be a great option for photographers and videographers, enabling them to capture shake-free handheld shots even in poor lighting conditions.

We’ll just have to wait to confirm this, until the launch take place and we are just a few hours away from it. With its launch, the new camera device, its specifications, price, availability and all such details will be made available to us.
