Sony Vlog Camera ZV-1 II: Specifications & features
The company has officially confirmed the features and specs of this newly launched vlog camera on its official website. ZV-1 II is a versatile vlog camera that features an 18-50mm wide-angle zoom lens for adaptable framing, a 1.0 type image sensor for impressive image quality, and a built-in intelligent three-capsule microphone for clear audio recording.
Its 292g lightweight design makes it easily portable. The vlogging camera arrives with a Bokeh switch and touch operation for vlogging with ease. For capturing clear group selfies the camera consists of iAUTO mode that lets the camera automatically adjust the setting to keep everyone’s face sharp and clear. There is also a soft skin effect present that minimizes the appearance of face lines, blemishes, and dullness while brightening the eyes and mouth for flawless skin.
Another interesting feature is that the vlog camera comes with Face Priority AE which helps in identifying the faces and adjusts the exposure to optimize facial brightness. Other features are a cinematic vlog setting, powerful image stabilization, built-in ND filter, accurate autofocus, My Image style, intuitive touch operation, product showcase setting, and AF transition speed/AF subject shift sensitivity.
Last but not least is the Clear Zoom function that smoothly enlarges images like up to 1.5x for 4k video and 2x for FHD. Zoom can be controlled using various options like zoom lever, on-screen touch zoom icons, GP-VPT2BT shooting grip, and mobile app Creators’ app.
