The new Matia Robotics Tek RMD helps wheelchair users to stand easily

On Friday, Tech Insider on Twitter shares a video of the new Matia Robotics Tek RMD that helps wheelchair users to stand easily and exercise.

In the video, a wheelchair user is using Matia Robotics Tek RMD which is helping him to stand. With the help of a remote, he can call the Tek RMD and put a harness that holds them upright and braces the knees. It also balances the weight of the user.

In the video, it has also shown that a paraplegic is able to exercise with the support of Tek RMD.

“The wheelchair of the future is taking a stand”, Tech Insider tweeted.

“The all-new Tek Robotic Mobilization Device is not a wheelchair alternative, but a brand new mobility platform that completely reimagines the way individuals with walking disabilities are able to move in the world. The ability to independently and safely sit, stand, and navigate environments that were once inaccessible, is now possible, safe, and available in many places around the world. The all-new Tek RMD® comes in an indoor and outdoor model, with an optional motorized electric lift and foldable seat. Tek RMD is a patented, CE Marked, and FDA 510(k) cleared technology,” a source as per Matia Robotics.
