Samsung launches it’s first TV with LG W-Oled panel- Samsung 83 inch 4K OLED TV for $5400

Samsung has earlier unveiled the 65-inch and 77-inch versions of S90C OLED TV and now the tech giant company has announced a new version of this TV. Samsung has announced its biggest OLED TV ever- an 83-inch version of the S90C OLED TV. This newly launched version is the company’s first TV that uses the WRGB OLED panel from the LG display.

Samsung 83-inch 4K OLED TV: Specifications & Features

The newly launched TV features 83 inch 10-bit 4K W-OLED display with a 144 Hz variable refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, HDR10+, HDR10+ adaptive, and HDR10+ gaming. It covers 100% DCI-P3 color space and as claimed by the company the TV’s colors are validated by Pantone. It is equipped with 40W 2.1 channel speakers and supports Dolby Atmos while the TV can sync wirelessly with Q-Symphony compatible soundbars from Samsung.

The TV is powered by a Neural Quantum processor and runs the Tizen 7.0 operating system. It has access to all audio and video streaming apps while it also including- Alexa, Bixby, Google Assistant, Samsung Health, Samsung TV Plus, SmartThings Hub, Tap Sound, Tap View, and wireless

The 83-inch S90C OLED TV has four HDMI  2.1 ports, three USB Type-A ports, an Ethernet port, optical audio out port, and a cable port. The other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi Direct, Miracast, AirPlay 2, DLNA, and Bluetooth 5.2.

The TV is priced at $5400 in the US though the release date has not yet been specified by the company or through the official website.
