Vu Launched Their 98-inch And 85-inch Masterpiece QLED TVs In India
Vu has launched the 98-inch and 85-inch Masterpiece QLED TVs in India. The 98-inch TV is priced at Rs 6,00,000 and the 82-inch TV is priced at Rs 3,00,000. The televisions are available to buy from the Vu website and online stores.
Specifications
Both the televisions come with an Ultra HD QLED display with 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution, 1000nits peak brightness, and 120 Hz refresh rate. The TVs have an anti-glare screen, which reduces reflections of ambient light, making the screen viewable even in much brighter surroundings.
Local dimming, HLG support, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision are the other display features. Both televisions have a 204W, 4.1-channel speaker system with Dolby Atmos. The Dolby Atmos feature provides the most immersive experience for users.
These televisions run on Android TV OS with the Google TV user interface on top, with support for apps through the Google Play Store for Android TV. Google Assistant and Google Chromecast are built into these TVs.
The 98-inch TV weighs 65 kilograms and the 85-inch TV weighs 43 kilograms.

With a sales turnover of Rs 1 billion, the company turned profitable in 2012. They started exporting televisions to the United States. Vu introduced UHD TV (4K HD) in 2014. At the end of the year, the company had a value of Rs 2 billion and they were selling about 40,000 televisions a year.
