Upcoming Google Pixel Devices Receive the Canadian REL Certification: Pixel 8 Pro and Watch 2

Google has already confirmed that the brand will be conducting a launch event at the beginning of next month and 8 exciting announcements are expected to be made by the brand at the event. One of the announcements is confirmed to be the announcement regarding the Pixel 8 series devices and the teaser video that was shared, pointed to the launch of the Pixel Watch 2 and the Pixel Buds Pro Porcelain colour variant as well.

Now, the upcoming Pixel 8 Pro smartphone and two models of the Pixel Watch 2(Cellular+Wi-Fi & Wi-Fi only models) have received Canada’s REL certification.

Google Pixel 8 Pro and Watch 2 REL Certification

The Pixel 8 Pro smartphone has been certified by the REL certification authority with the certificate number – 10395A-GC3VE and has appeared on the database with the model number – GC3VE. The moniker of the device has also been mentioned on the certification database.

Regarding the Pixel Watch 2, the cellular and non-cellular models have received the certification with the certificate numbers 10395A-GD2WG & 10395A-G4TSL and have appeared on the database with model numbers of GD2WG & G4TSL, respectively.

Just to add, previously, the Pixel Watch 2 Wi-Fi only model had made it to Singapore’s IMDA certification platform with the same model number as G4TSL, which, was also spotted on the Google Play Console listing.

About the Pixel 8 Pro, a lot has already been revealed and the company itself had put up a 360-degree simulator of the smartphone on its website two days back. The Pixel 8 Pro will also be accompanied by the vanilla Pixel 8 smartphone.

Both the above-mentioned devices along with a few other Pixel devices, as suggested from the invitation sent by Google and also from the teaser video, will be launched next month, on the 4th of October 2023.
