Upcoming Sonos Move 2 Green Colour Variant Renders Leaked Ahead of its Launch

Sonos, the American audio products manufacturer, will soon be launching its second generation Move wireless portable speaker, the Sonos Move 2, and the device is expected to have its debut by late September 2023. Ahead of this expected launch date, the renders of the device in Green colour have been leaked.

Sonos Move 2 Renders Leaked 

Previously, the first look image along with the key specifications of the Sonos Move 2 were revealed and we got to see the green colour variant of the device for the first time. The render images that have now been leaked also features the green colour variant and just like what was previously revealed from the first look image, the upcoming device has the same body when compared to its predecessor with just a few difference.

The first notable difference is the volume slider along with the slightly tweaked symbol controls that are inspired by the Sonos Era 100 and Era 300 speakers that were launched this year. There is the play/pause, next and previous buttons at the top of the device. The microphones and the LED light indicator are also at the top. At the back, there are three buttons, said to be for power, mic and Bluetooth. However, the previous report had suggested that the device is to feature a new switch at the back which can be used to disable voice assistants. A USB type-C connectivity port is also present below the functional buttons.

Now about its specifications, the upcoming Sonos Move 2 will have dual-angled tweeters for stereo sound and will come equipped with the same woofer. It will also support Automatic Trueplay. Compared to the previous generation, the upcoming device will also offer a longer battery life of upto 24 hours as well. Other features include the Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity support. The device will also have a detachable power adapter.

Sonos Move 2 is expected to have its release by late September and is to be made available in the US market at a price of $449. It will arrive in Black, Olive and Green colours.
