Upcoming Tablet Device Features Tipped; Could be for the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro

Xiaomi’s next upcoming Pad 7-series tablet models are said to be in works and reports have already pointed to some of its specifications and other features. Now, a tipster on the Weibo platform has shared the features of a tablet model and it appears to be that of the Pad 7 Pro device.

Here’s more about it.

Expected Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro Specs Tipped

This update comes from the Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station who had previously shared a lot about an upcoming Xiaomi Pad 7-series tablet and another tablet device, one being the Pad 7 Pro and the other being the possible Pad 7 Max(likely).

The tipster had revealed some of the specs like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, HyperOS custom skin based on the Android 14 operating system, LCD display screen with 144Hz refresh rate support, 50MP dual rear camera setup, and quad speakers for the Pad 7 Pro model, while the other device is said to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and is expected to feature an OLED display panel. (Do note that it is still not yet sure whether this is the Pad 7 Max itself or any of the other upcoming Xiaomi tablet model).

Coming to the recent update, the tipster suggests that the Pad 7 Pro instead of the previously tipped 67W/90W charging spec, will likely be supporting a 100W flash charging feature. The device is also pointed out to be developed with large terminals along with the new interconnection system shared by multiple terminals. Nothing particular about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 OLED tablet has been mentioned, but the tipster notes that its works are accelerating and there could be a soon launch.

About the release, the tipster had shared that the Pad 7 Pro tablet will probably be launched in the month of April 2024, after the Xiaomi 14 Ultra launch, however in the recent post it has been stated that the launch will take place by the end of February 2024, next month. If this turns out to be true, the Pad 7 series debut might take place sooner than expected.
