Upcoming Xiaomi Pad 7 Tablet Specifications Tipped: Check it Out

Xiaomi is already reported to be in the works to launch its next Pad 7 series tablet devices and till now updates have been regarding the Pad 7 Pro and the possible Pad 7 Max tablets. The specifications of the vanilla Pad 7 device has now been tipped by a Chinese tipster – Digital Chat Station.

Xiaomi Pad 7 Tablet – Tipped Specifications

Xiaomi’s upcoming Pad 7 tablet has been tipped to feature a comparatively larger 12.45″ LCD display than its predecessor which had a 11″ IPS LCD screen, and it is pointed out to support the same refresh rate of 144Hz. The tipster has also mentioned that the device could be powered by the previous Qualcomm flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. A 120W wired fast charge feature is also suggested to be supported by the device, faster than the 33W wired charging feature of the previous model.

In response to this post, another Weibo user has also commented that the display appears to be very thick and the display effect is suggested to be not that good. The only notable advantage is mentioned to be the relative eye protection. In comparison to this, the tipster notes that Redmi’s LCD models are not bad and that the devices can be thin and light in weight with good display quality.

Previous updates from the tipster has already revealed few of the specifications of the other Pad 7 series models. The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro has been tipped with specs like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, Android 14 based HyperOS custom skin, 144Hz LCD display, 50MP dual rear camera unit, quad speakers, and 100W fast charge support. Do note that the vanilla Pad 7 is said to support 120W fast charging.

There is also a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 tablet with an OLED display panel in works and this device is expected to be the possible Xiaomi Pad 7 Max. However, no reports have arrived yet confirming this and we’ll have to wait for it.
