What’s new in Nothing OS 1.1.4 update? Let’s have a look

Due to the most recent over-the-air (OTA) firmware update, Nothing OS has reached version 1.1.4. The improved color calibration for the ultra wide-angle camera, which now aligns it with the primary camera, is one of the most crucial of the group due to the exceptional amount of camera improvements it offers. Nothing has also used a novel motion detection method that enhances the stabilization of moving objects. The company has also accelerated the ultra-wide camera’s HDR photo shooting rate. The ability to add a Nothing watermark to photographs is now available.

The direct integration of functionality from the Nothing Ear 1 app into Nothing OS is one of the most recent developments. That suggests that managing and modifying the settings for the wireless earphones won’t require the usage of the Ear1 app.

The phone will also support LHDC high-definition audio in the future. The phone’s three-button navigation bar can now be turned, though it’s a little modification. Nothing OS 1.1.4 will feature the September 2022 Android security update and optimize the phone’s always-on display to increase battery life.

Although there haven’t been many reports of the phone overheating, it does offer improved thermal performance and a face unlock algorithm.

As usual, there are bug patches, and Nothing OS version 1.1.4 resolves several network issues that were present with particular carriers. It also includes a fix for the fingerprint issue with the HDFC Bank app as well as a bug that made incoming calls appear to be from an unknown number.

This is an important update all around, and Nothing is still committed to its handset. If you haven’t received it yet, kindly be patient as it is currently rolling out. Although the download links are not yet available, the upgrade can be sideloaded as usual.
