One of the most affordable 5G smartphones in the world has been introduced by Honor in China.

The HONOR Play 6C sports a side-facing fingerprint scanner, a thick bottom bezel, and a waterdrop notch.
It looks slick, and the rear includes two cutouts for cameras. The device sports a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 90Hz, measuring 720×1600 pixels.
It comes in three different colors: Titanium Silver, Aurora Blue, and Magic Night Black.
The Play 6C has a dual rear camera arrangement with a 13MP (f/1.8) primary camera and an unnamed secondary camera with an LED flash. It has a front-facing 5MP (f/2.2) selfie camera. The Play 6C is powered by a Snapdragon 480 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage.
The tablet already has MagicUI 5.0, an interface built on top of the Android 12 OS. The device’s internal 5,000mAh battery enables 22.5W quick charging. Connectivity options include a 3.5mm connector, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a Type-C port, and 5G.
The HONOR Play 6C is offered in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB models, with prices of CNY 1,099 (about Rs. 12,800) and CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 15,100), respectively. The smartphone is presently offered for purchase in China on the company’s official website.
