Xiaomi’s premium tablet variant, the Pad 7 Nano Texture Display Edition, is now available for purchase across India. The sale began today at 12 PM through Amazon, mi.com, and Xiaomi retail stores, following the launch of its vanilla variant last month.
What sets this edition apart is its innovative nano texture display technology, which Xiaomi claims reduces interference light by 99% and reflectivity by 65%. This specialized display offers enhanced eye protection and provides a paper-like writing experience, making it particularly suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The Pad 7 Nano Texture Display Edition features an 11.2-inch CrystalRes display with impressive specifications, including a 3.2K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits HBM brightness. The display also supports DCI-P3 color gamut and comes with Original Color Pro cross-device color calibration.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, complemented by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It runs on Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS 2 and houses an 8850mAh battery with 45W Turbocharging support. Despite its robust features, the tablet maintains a slim profile at 6.18mm and weighs 500g.
The device includes a 13MP ultra-clear rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Additional features comprise quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, Workstation mode, AI Intelligence capabilities, and IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance. While the tablet supports Focus keyboard and Focus pen accessories, these need to be purchased separately.
