A new Mafia game project is in the process

The General Manager of video game developer Hangar 13, Roman Hladík is happy to confirm that they have started their work on an all-new Mafia project.

He said that while it’s a few years away and they can’t reveal anything more right now, they are excited to keep working on this beloved franchise and to entertain our players with new stories.

As of August 2022, it’s been twenty years since the iconic Mafia series made its debut with Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven.

It’s been a great adventure from the first Mafia to Mafia II, Mafia III, and the faithful, ground-up remake of Mafia: Definitive Edition.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is a remake of the 2002 video game Mafia and the fourth main installment in the Mafia series. Like the original game, the remake is set within the fictional city of Lost Heaven, Illinois, during the 1930s, and follows the rise and fall of Tommy Angelo, a Sicilian American cab driver-turned-gangster, within the Salieri crime family.

On September 25, 2020, the game was released for Playstation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. Both individually and as part of the Mafia: Trilogy pack, including a remastered version of the second game and a version of the third game comprised with its additional story packs.
